The BR725 Sandcasted Key Hook from Kobashi Studio is a beautifully made everyday object, crafted in Japan using traditional sand-casting techniques. Made from solid brass and finished with a double flat ring, it offers a sturdy and practical way to carry keys with a distinct handmade character.
The hook is plated with real silver using a hanging method at a family-run plating company in Tokyo founded in 1954. Unlike standard plating, which is often extremely thin, this piece receives a silver layer of over 10 microns, giving it greater depth, durability, and a richer finish.
After plating, each hook is stone-polished by hand to create a subtle vintage feel and a softly aged silver surface. Over time, the finish will naturally develop patina just like real silver, and can easily be maintained or brightened using a proper silver polishing cloth.
Delivered in a wax paper envelope.
