Fit description: 53 × 53 cm
This silk-screen printed bandana is crafted by a historic scarf manufacturer in Tokyo, established in 1918. Made from 100% cotton, it is dyed using the traditional Japanese red known as Shinku—a deep, vivid safflower-derived red that carries centuries of cultural significance.
The intricate chrysanthemum pattern was hand-illustrated by Junichi Kobashi, offering a fresh, modern take on an ancient Japanese motif. The dye-dyeing process ensures the pigment fully saturates the fabric, visible on both sides.
Each bandana comes beautifully packaged in a Japanese wax paper envelope, making it a meaningful keepsake or refined everyday accessory.
