The BR52660 Herringbone Twill Camouflage Shorts from Buzz Rickson's are based on the camouflage trousers adopted by the U.S. Army in 1943 for both combat use and gas protection. Reworked into a summer-ready short, they retain many of the functional details that made the original military garment so distinctive.
Crafted from a robust herringbone twill, the fabric is printed with camouflage on both sides, mirroring the construction of the original trousers where enhanced concealment was a key consideration. The substantial cloth offers excellent durability while developing character through wear and washing.
The design features practical side pockets and the characteristic gas flap concealed behind the front placket, a detail carried over from the original military specification. Combined with the high rise and wide-leg silhouette, the shorts deliver a relaxed fit that feels authentic to the era while remaining highly wearable today.
Made in Japan and finished with the meticulous attention to detail that defines Buzz Rickson’s, these are military-inspired shorts with exceptional historical accuracy and everyday appeal.
Olof is 185 cm / 80 kg and wears size 34.
