The Buzz Rickson’s William Gibson Collection Black Chambray Work Shirt takes the brand’s classic blue chambray shirt – a Buzz Rickson’s staple for more than 20 years – and reworks it entirely in black as part of the William Gibson Collection.

The selvedge chambray is woven on old-style power looms with intentionally uneven tension, creating subtle irregularities across the surface. The black colour brings out this texture particularly well and will continue to develop more character and variation through repeated wear and washing.

The William Gibson Collection grew from Buzz Rickson’s connection with American author William Gibson, whose novel Pattern Recognition famously featured a black Buzz Rickson’s MA-1. The collection takes classic Buzz Rickson’s military and workwear pieces and reinterprets them exclusively in black.

Construction remains firmly rooted in vintage workwear, with double-needle felled seams and selvedge reinforcement at the side of the hem.
