What it’s made from: 100% U.S.-spun worsted wool
Fit description: One size, with a comfortable stretch and traditional fold-over watch cap fit
The Dehen 1920 Wool Knit Watch Cap in Old Gold is knitted in Portland from the same U.S.-spun worsted wool that has long been central to Dehen’s knitwear. For the watch cap, however, Dehen uses a different stitch from its sweaters, creating a softer and more forgiving hand. The cap is knitted in a substantial 6-gauge construction.
The design has a direct connection to Dehen’s own history. The traditional watch cap takes its name from sailors wearing knitted caps to stay warm while standing watch, and Dehen chose the style partly as a reference to founder William Dehen’s service in the U.S. Navy.
Construction is simple and traditional, with a six-seam crown, a subtle accent stitch along the edge and Dehen’s understated black and gold woven label.
One size fits all.
