The Denime Lot 220A Offset XX Model is a faithful recreation of the XX jeans Denime produced when the brand was founded in 1988, themselves heavily influenced by 1950s American denim.

The 14.5 oz selvedge denim was developed with Kurabo from Denime’s original recipe. Ring-spun uneven American cotton yarns are rope-dyed in a specially developed indigo and finished with botanical dye, creating the deep indigo colour characteristic of early Denime. The fabric is woven on old Toyoda GL3 power looms, retaining plenty of natural irregularity in the surface.

One of the defining details is the offset centre belt loop, curved away from the centre seam – a detail that made the original Denime XX immediately recognisable. Hidden rivets, original-style buttons, a leather patch and cotton sewing thread complete the construction.

These jeans are unwashed and shrink-to-fit. Expect approximately 5–6 cm shrinkage in the waist and 6–7 cm in the inseam, with around 2 cm in the rise and 1 cm through the thigh and hem after the first wash. Jonas is 183 cm, 75 kg and wears size 31 post-wash, same fit as Warehouse & Co sizing.
