Denime - Lot 221 Big E Model Jeans

The Denime Lot 221 Big E Model is based on the tapered jeans of the 1960s, when denim was moving from workwear into everyday casual clothing. The pattern has a comfortable top block and a clean straight leg that gradually tapers towards the hem.

The 14.5 oz selvedge denim was developed together with Kurabo using Denime’s original fabric recipe. Ring-spun uneven yarns are rope dyed to create a deep indigo with a white core, then woven on an old Toyoda GL3 power loom for a naturally irregular surface and strong fading potential.

Details including the paper patch, sewing thread colours, buttons and woven tab have been recreated to reference Denime jeans from the brand’s early years.

These jeans are unwashed and shrink-to-fit. Expect approximately 6 cm shrinkage in the waist and 6 cm in the inseam after the first wash. Please refer to our measurements below, which are taken from the jeans in their unwashed state.
