The Lot 224 '66 Model Jeans Natural Mother Cotton from Denime faithfully recreates the iconic jeans of 1966, a period many denim enthusiasts consider the perfect balance between early workwear and modern five-pocket jeans. Woven in Japan from 13 oz selvedge denim using Natural Mother Cotton, the fabric retains the natural character of the cotton, creating a rich texture and an authentic vintage appearance.

These jeans are offered in their original shrink-to-fit state, allowing the denim to mould uniquely to the wearer. After the first wash, you can expect approximately 5–7 cm of shrinkage in the inseam and around 2 cm in the waist. An alternative method is to soak the jeans in lukewarm water for around an hour and then wear them until dry, allowing the denim to conform naturally to your body while still shrinking to its intended size.

The Lot 224 features a mid-high rise and a regular straight fit, closely following the proportions of original 1966 jeans. Finished with period-correct construction details, a button fly, and traditional selvedge craftsmanship, it is a timeless pair of jeans built to age beautifully with years of wear.
