Where it’s made: Made in Wakayama, Japan
What it’s made from: 100% Zimbabwean cotton, original loopwheel fleece
Fit description: Regular fit with set-in sleeves and classic proportions
The 3841 Double V Set-In Sleeve Sweatshirt from Fullcount is crafted using original loopwheel knitting machines found only in Wakayama, Japan. These vintage hanging machines operate at extremely low speed, producing just a few metres of fabric per day, resulting in a fleece with exceptional softness, volume, and natural elasticity — much like American sweatshirts from the 1940s and 50s.
Made from Zimbabwean cotton, including naturally coloured brown cotton fibres, the fleece offers a rich, organic hand feel that lets you experience the raw character of the cotton itself. The construction is equally considered, featuring flat seamer stitching on a Union Special machine, double V gussets, and time-intensive milling and neck finishing using vintage equipment.
A true example of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, built for comfort, longevity, and everyday wear.
Jonas is 183 cm / 75 kg and wears size 42.
