The Heimat Signal U Boat Hat takes inspiration from traditional US Navy watch caps, originally worn by sailors to protect against wind and cold weather. The Signal collection also draws on the colourful uniforms of sailing crews and motorsport teams, where contrasting colours helped identify different teams. The combination of deep navy Ink and bright Safety Red gives the hat a distinctive appearance.

Knitted in Germany from substantial virgin wool, the dense 5-gauge construction provides excellent warmth and a rich, textured feel. The wool retains its natural oils, giving it moisture-resistant and self-cleaning properties.

The double-folded cuff allows the hat to be worn shorter above the ears or pulled down for additional coverage. The knit feels relatively snug when new but gradually softens and adapts to the shape of the head with wear.
