Where it’s made: Made in Germany
What it’s made from: 100% virgin wool, heavyweight 3-gauge knit
Fit description: Regular, slightly snug fit that gradually relaxes with wear
The Heimat Skipper Sweater takes inspiration from traditional maritime knitwear, originally designed to provide warmth and protection for sailors working in cold conditions. Knitted in Germany from specially sourced virgin wool, the substantial 3-gauge construction gives the jumper its distinctive texture and impressive weight. The Ink colour is a deep, dark navy blue.
The dense wool knit provides excellent insulation while retaining the natural breathability and temperature-regulating properties of wool. The jumper is knitted and assembled in Germany, with the sleeves and collar attached by hand, reflecting Heimat's dedication to traditional knitwear production.
The Skipper features a high collar with a metal half-zip, allowing it to be worn fully closed for warmth or opened for a more relaxed appearance. Signature knitted stripes at the cuffs and hem, along with adjustable double-roll cuffs, complete the design.
The fit is relatively snug when new, but the wool gradually relaxes and moulds to the body with wear.
Jonas is 183 cm / 75 kg and wears size Large.
