The Indigofera Duke Smithson Canvas Jeans take inspiration from American workwear and denim silhouettes of the 1930s. The Duke is Indigofera’s widest fit, featuring a high waist, spacious top block and a wide, straight leg that falls naturally from the thigh to the hem.

This version is made from Indigofera’s specially developed 13 oz Smithson canvas, woven in Japan from 100% cotton. The distinctive basket-weave construction gives the fabric a substantial, textured feel, while the Golden Brown colour adds a warm, earthy character. The canvas will gradually soften with wear, developing a more relaxed drape while retaining its structure.

Traditional five-pocket construction includes a copper button fly, reinforced stitching, large acorn-shaped back pockets and bar-tack reinforcements. The combination of a high rise and generous leg width creates a comfortable silhouette reminiscent of early American work trousers.
