The IHSH-442 Orange Check Work Shirt from Iron Heart is a lighter take on the brand’s signature flannel shirts, offering the same craftsmanship in a more breathable format. Woven as a 9 oz selvedge flannel, it’s ideal for transitional weather and everyday wear.

The fabric is produced on rare shuttle looms — with only a handful in Japan capable of creating these intricate patterns — where the weft yarn is switched mid-weave. Unlike earlier flannels, this version uses reactive-dyed yarns, resulting in a more colourfast finish with minimal fading over time.

Cut in Iron Heart’s regular work shirt silhouette, it features classic details such as white four-hole buttons, patch chest pockets with a pen holder, and a straight back yoke. Construction includes single and double needle stitching, felled internal seams, and side seam gussets with chainstitch runoff. Subtle details like the selvedge ID and orange bobbin thread complete the piece.

One-washed with no shrinkage expected.
