The Key Chain Twist Silver Plated 2.5mm from Kobashi Studio combines traditional Japanese manufacturing with a clean, timeless design. The chain is woven from 2.5 mm solid brass wire using a vintage chain-making machine, then finished with an extensive tumbling process that smooths each link while maintaining strength and durability.

Attached to the chain is Kobashi Studio’s signature sand-cast key hook, crafted from solid brass and plated with over 10 microns of real silver. Each piece is subsequently stone-polished by hand, creating a subtle vintage appearance and a rich depth to the finish.

Designed to age beautifully, the silver plating will gradually develop the natural patina associated with real silver. For those who prefer a brighter finish, it can easily be restored using a dedicated silver polishing cloth.

Produced entirely in Japan using components from specialist manufacturers and small family-run workshops, this is a functional everyday accessory built with the same attention to detail found throughout the Kobashi Studio collection.
