The MOMOTARO JEANS 002 Standard Denim Jacket is made from the brand’s 14.7 oz 特濃 – TOKUNO BLUE selvedge denim, woven from 100% Zimbabwe cotton. The exceptionally deep indigo colour is one of the defining characteristics of the fabric, designed to produce strong contrast and increasingly visible texture as the jacket is worn and washed.

For this version of the fabric, finer weft yarns have been selected to bring greater depth and clarity to the indigo face. The denim remains rigid and unwashed, allowing the fading process to begin entirely with the wearer, but has undergone a low-shrinkage treatment to reduce the dimensional changes normally associated with raw denim.

The 002 uses a classic double-pocket denim jacket design, with a relaxed body and a moderate length that makes it easy to layer. Discreet side handwarmer pockets add everyday practicality without changing the traditional appearance, while a cowhide leather patch completes the construction.
