The Omoto Denim Regular Straight Jeans from Omoto Denim combine classic Japanese denim craftsmanship with a silhouette designed for everyday versatility. Inspired by the principles of bespoke tailoring, the pattern is developed around the natural structure of the human body, creating a fit that balances comfort with a refined appearance.

Cut with a slightly deeper rise, moderate room through the thigh, and a subtle taper from the knee down, the fit offers a timeless straight-leg profile that works across a wide range of styles and occasions.

The 13.5 oz selvedge denim is woven from a blend of Memphis cotton and Zimbabwean cotton, combining firmness, softness, and durability. Produced on a modified 1950s Sakamoto shuttle loom, the fabric is woven under extremely low tension, creating the irregular texture and natural character that define traditional Japanese denim.

Using 100% pure indigo and traditional rope-dyeing techniques, the yarns retain a white core that allows for rich contrast fading over time. The result is a classic medium-dark indigo shade reminiscent of vintage 1950s denim, with exceptional ageing potential.

One-washed for comfort while preserving the authentic texture and character of the fabric.
