The 3750 Cube Sashiko Denim Chore Jacket from Omoto Denim combines traditional Japanese textile influences with a modern interpretation of vintage workwear. Inspired by classic chore jackets, it retains the practicality and character of heritage work garments while refining the silhouette for contemporary wear.
The fabric is woven using a unique sashiko-inspired cube weave, creating a richly textured surface with a distinctive three-dimensional appearance. By using indigo-dyed warp yarns and black weft yarns, Omoto has achieved a deep, dark tone that will gradually reveal beautiful contrast and character as the jacket fades with wear.
Despite the textured construction, the fabric remains surprisingly soft and comfortable from the start. The jacket features two chest pockets, two front hand pockets, an internal pocket, and a hem adjuster, making it practical for everyday use.
Finished with a one-wash treatment, the jacket offers immediate comfort while retaining all the ageing potential and depth that make Japanese denim so rewarding to wear.
Olof is 185 cm / 80 kg and wears size Large.
