The Skata Skata collection is a collaboration between O.P Jewellery and Stockholm-based artist Ragnar Persson, celebrating the Nordic magpie — a bird surrounded by myth, symbolism, and folklore. In many cultures, the magpie represents intelligence, curiosity, and mystery; in the Nordics, it carries both superstition and charm.

The feather motif draws inspiration from global traditions where feathers symbolize freedom, luck, transformation, and craftsmanship — spanning Native American heritage to Japanese artisanal practices. Here, those universal meanings are reinterpreted through a Nordic lens, with the magpie at the heart of the design.

Crafted in certified 925 silver and made in Bangkok by Well Field Ltd, the bracelet combines refined detailing with Ragnar Persson’s artistic expression. Measuring 20 cm in length and around 6 mm at its widest point, it comes packaged in a branded box with a cotton bag.
