The orSlow Denim Western Shirt Vintage Indigo is based on American denim western shirts from the 1960s, recreated with the soft, broken-in character of a well-worn vintage original.
It is made from orSlow’s own 6 oz Japanese denim, woven from uneven yarns with a rope-dyed indigo warp. The relatively lightweight denim gives the shirt a much softer and easier feel than a denim jacket or heavy overshirt, while still allowing the indigo and irregular yarn structure to develop further character with continued wear.
The Vintage Indigo wash gives the denim a naturally faded appearance and relaxed hand from the start. Traditional western details include sawtooth chest pockets and western-style yokes, while the slightly roomy silhouette works equally well tucked in or worn loose.
