The Resolute 714 Jeans One Wash are Yoshiyuki Hayashi’s interpretation of the American WWII “War Model” jeans. Introduced in 2023, the 714 takes its inspiration from the simplified jeans produced during wartime material restrictions, but with Resolute’s own distinctive pattern and proportions.
Compared with the slimmer 710, the 714 has a deeper rise, higher waist and more room around the hips and thighs. The leg remains relatively full before tapering gently towards the hem, giving it a more substantial vintage silhouette. The one-wash denim weighs 13.5 oz after washing and has already undergone its initial shrinkage.
Wartime-inspired details include a laurel-engraved doughnut top button, rivet-free coin pocket and wider belt loops. Resolute has kept these characteristic WWII details while producing the jeans entirely in Japan.
Please note: Resolute's tagged length does not correspond directly to the actual inseam in inches. A tagged 34 length should therefore not be assumed to measure 34 inches. For reference, one-wash 714s tagged L34 typically measure around 81–82 cm in the inseam, but please refer to our actual measurements below when choosing your length.
