A slightly slimmer, straight-leg model based on the iconic S5000VX, the S5100VX Zero+ refines Samurai’s heritage silhouette with a one-inch deeper inseam and subtle tweaks for improved balance. Woven from 17oz Zero+ selvedge denim on vintage shuttle looms, the fabric uses both warp and weft made from uneven, high-twist #5 rough cotton yarn, giving exceptional stiffness and a rich, highly textured hand.

The indigo is the darkest Samurai has ever used, resulting in a deep, almost black hue that will evolve with striking contrast fades. Limited numbers of shuttle looms can handle this thick, slubby yarn, requiring careful adjustments and slow weaving speeds—true to Samurai’s commitment to craft.

The details are just as considered: reddish-brown “shakudo”-inspired iron pine buttons that develop a beautiful patina with wear, copper Samurai rivets, and 8oz slubby denim pocket bags for extra durability. Finished with an exclusive leather patch and flasher.
