The Authentic Work Denim Shirt Washed from Spellbound is a carefully crafted work shirt inspired by vintage American denim shirting. Made from an original 6 oz denim fabric developed together with a denim mill in the Ibara region of Japan, it balances lightweight comfort with a strong vintage character.

Both warp and weft yarns use American cotton, with the warp rope-dyed in indigo. The #16 warp yarn creates a pronounced vertical fading effect, giving the fabric a beautiful ageing potential over time.

Construction details include narrow triple stitching, combining cotton and core yarn sewing techniques in a way that highlights traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The silhouette is carefully designed to follow the body naturally, resulting in an authentic fit that feels exceptionally comfortable to wear.

This washed version has received a subtle used treatment by Howa, aiming to recreate the natural look and feel of a shirt worn regularly for around two years — soft, broken-in, and full of character without feeling overprocessed.
