The SC40401A Aloha Denim from Sugar Cane is part of the brand’s unique Sugar Cane Fiber Denim series, combining traditional craftsmanship with innovative materials. The fabric blends cotton with bagasse — the fibrous byproduct of sugar refining — creating a denim with natural antibacterial, deodorising, and antistatic properties.

Dyed with Hawaiian indigo, the 14 oz right-hand twill denim has a rich blue tone and a distinctive uneven texture that will develop character with wear. The silhouette follows a regular straight fit, similar to classic 1947-style jeans, offering a timeless and easy-to-wear shape.

Details include a button fly, a hair-on-hide leather patch featuring a turtle motif — considered a messenger of the gods in Hawaiian culture — and hand-stitched sashiko detailing on the back pockets, adding both durability and visual depth.
