The Sunray Sportswear Makaha Long Sleeve T-Shirt is inspired by classic American athletic clothing from the 1950s. Made from substantial 300gsm Japanese cotton jersey, it has a soft yet structured feel, with enough weight to sit somewhere between a traditional T-shirt and a lightweight sweatshirt. This version comes in a classic Off White
The fabric is knitted in Japan on traditional loopwheel machines, operating slowly and with very little tension on the yarn. This produces a dense yet remarkably soft jersey with natural stretch and a tubular body without side seams. The fabric gradually softens with wear while retaining its shape.
The Makaha features a boxy silhouette, a reinforced ribbed neckline and long sleeves finished with ribbed cuffs. The slightly shorter proportions draw on vintage sportswear, giving the shirt a relaxed fit without excessive length.
