A standout reproduction from the early days of American workwear, the TCB 20’s Jacket is based on an original 1922 vintage garment owned by TCB. This was a transitional period in denim history—belt loops had just begun to appear, yet many garments still used suspenders and cinch-backs for adjustment.

Woven exclusively for this model, the 12.5oz selvedge denim is made from 100% Memphis cotton, chosen by TCB for its dry, irregular texture and incredible fading potential. Both warp and weft yarns are #8 count, producing a slightly uneven, deep indigo fabric that ages like the real thing. A wider white selvedge line—typical of pre-1930s production—is faithfully reproduced by adding 8 extra threads to the selvedge edge.

Key details include:
– Two-prong cinch back from SOLIDE
– Die-cast buttons moulded directly from a vintage specimen
– Belt loops made from a different fabric, just like early add-ons were in the 1920s

Every piece is cut, sewn, and finished in-house at TCB’s Kojima factory using vintage sewing machines and techniques true to the era.
