Crafted from 12 oz denim, these jeans feature black yarns for both warps and wefts, giving them a distinct vintage-like finish. The yarn is sulfur dyed and rope-dyed, ensuring that the jeans will develop an appealing vertical fade over time, similar to the classic ageing of vintage black denim.

Made from primarily American cotton, the fabric uses No. 7 warp thread and No. 9 weft thread, giving it a natural unevenness and character. The weft thread is slightly less densely woven, contributing to the worn look typical of old jeans, especially when washed frequently. The jeans are sanforized, just like vintage 505s, offering a stable fit right from the start.

A unique detail lies in the waist belt construction. While the main body of the jeans is made with fabric woven on a vintage shuttle loom, the waist belt uses fabric from an innovative loom, reflecting the specifications of the rare vintage 505 owned by TCB. Though this subtle detail may be hard to see on the black denim, it highlights TCB's dedication to authenticity and craftsmanship.
