The 50’s Jeans from TCB are the cornerstone of the brand’s lineup—a faithful homage to the 1950s Levi’s 501. With a classic straight-leg silhouette, high rise, and roomy fit through the thighs, these are made to be worn like the originals: all day, every day. The slightly tapered leg and clean profile make them flattering for a wide range of builds, while the generous top block gives them a true vintage character.

Crafted in Kojima using 13.5 oz selvedge denim made from long-staple Zimbabwean cotton, the fabric is rope-dyed and woven on vintage shuttle looms for rich indigo depth and high fade potential. This one-wash version has been rinsed to remove shrinkage, softening the fabric just enough while preserving its dry hand and crisp texture.

Details include iron buttons that will rust over time, a hand-applied paper patch that ages with wear, hidden back pocket rivets, and signature two-tone stitching for contrast and vintage authenticity. The small indigo-dyed tab at the back pocket is TCB’s subtle take on the Levi’s red tab—updated and distinctive.

TCB—short for "Two Cats Brand"—is a cult Japanese denim manufacturer run by Hajime Inoue and his small crew in Kojima. Known for painstaking reproductions of vintage American workwear, TCB handles every step in-house: from cutting and sewing to fabric development and vintage machine operation.
