Fit description: Vintage 1960s type III-inspired fit with classic proportions
The TCB 60’s Jacket is a faithful reproduction of an early 1960s classic—the kind of denim trucker that defined an era of youth, counterculture, and rugged workwear. Cut from a 13 oz denim woven from San Joaquin Valley cotton, this piece captures the crispness and blueish tone of that era’s fabric, along with a soft, slightly hairy surface that fades like vintage originals.
The cotton is grown in California’s Central Valley, nourished by pure snowmelt water from surrounding mountains, giving it a unique brightness and long fibre character. TCB developed this fabric exclusively for the jacket, then ran it through vintage Union Special machines for chainstitched seams and perfect tension.
Details include a lightweight denim lining behind the front pocket flaps, core-spun yarns for extra strength, and a hand-applied paper patch that will age and tear as you wear the jacket in. This version of the type III jacket is slightly boxier and more vintage than modern interpretations, staying true to early ‘60s production.
Jonas is 183 cm, 75 kg and wears a size 42.
