TCB’s first-ever jeans were the 50’s. A love letter to post-war American denim and the blueprint behind every silhouette they’ve made since. This new Baggy version carries that legacy forward—with the same heritage detailing, same 13.5 oz Zimbabwe cotton fabric, but reimagined in a wider, modern cut.
Inspired by younger staff at TCB who customised their own jeans into fuller silhouettes, the Baggy 50’s celebrates individuality and generational reinterpretation. The shape is roomy throughout, with generous ease through the hips, thighs and hem. It’s the kind of jean that can be worn cuffed, dragged, cinched or oversized—just like the mods or skaters who rewrote denim rules in decades past.
The fabric is rope-dyed indigo, woven on vintage shuttle looms with a loose weave and naturally irregular texture—perfect for vertical fades. Every pair is sewn on vintage machines using 4 different thread colours and 5 different thread thicknesses, true to vintage specs. The hand-sewn paper patch will eventually tear and reveal dark indigo beneath—another detail that only time can unlock.
Jonas is 183 cm, 75 kg and wears a size 31.
