Where it’s made: Made in Japan
What it’s made from: 100% cotton back sateen, one wash
Fit description: High rise with a relaxed thigh and tapered leg
The TCB Jeans 50's Baker Pants are based on early US Army fatigue trousers from the 1950s. Made in Japan from 100% cotton back sateen, the fabric closely reproduces the characteristic texture of vintage military trousers. This Charcoal version offers an alternative to the traditional olive green, with a muted grey tone that will develop more character with wear and washing.
The fit features a high rise, generous room around the hips and thighs, and a more pronounced taper towards the hem than the original military trousers. This gives the Baker Pants a comfortable, relaxed silhouette without being excessively wide at the leg opening.
Details include two large front patch pockets, buttoned back pockets, a button fly and adjustable side tabs at the waistband. The trousers are sewn using TCB's traditional workwear techniques, allowing the characteristic puckering around the seams to develop with repeated washing.
The fabric has been one-washed to soften it and remove shrinkage.
