The Blanket Lined Cat Head Jacket from TCB Jeans is part of the brand’s expanded coverall lineup, built with a clear purpose — not just as clothing, but as a functional tool for colder working environments. Inspired by vintage 1930s chore coats, this piece combines historical reference with TCB’s own interpretation of what a lined work jacket could be.

Rather than strictly reproducing an existing lined version, this jacket is based on the idea of “what if the Cat Head jacket had a lining?” — resulting in a piece that blends authenticity with thoughtful updates. The interior features a warm blanket lining, designed to provide real insulation, while details like corduroy at the collar, cuffs, and pocket flaps add both durability and character.

The outer fabric is developed by analysing vintage garments down to the yarn level, using a mix of uneven yarns to recreate the texture and depth of early workwear fabrics. With no sanforizing or anti-twist processing, the material retains a raw, natural character that will evolve with wear.

Signature elements include the distinctive Cat Head branding, inspired by vintage American workwear mascots, along with green bar tacks and buttonholes — a subtle but striking detail that will fade over time. The construction also features a rare chain-stitched neckband on the outer side, a technical detail rooted in vintage manufacturing methods.
