The Carpenter Pants Indigo from TCB Jeans are inspired by vintage 1950s Hercules painter pants, faithfully recreating the practical details and distinctive character of classic American workwear from the era.

Crafted from a 10.8 oz denim woven in a traditional 2x1 construction, the fabric features an indigo rope-dyed warp paired with top-dyed weft yarns. By dyeing the cotton before spinning, subtle colour variations are introduced into the yarn, creating the irregular depth and vintage appearance often found in original mid-century workwear fabrics.

The trousers feature all the hallmarks expected from classic carpenter and painter pants, including authentic workwear construction and period-correct details such as chain-stitched waistband construction and a vintage-style Gripper zipper. The result is a pair of trousers that feel true to their heritage while remaining highly wearable today.

Cut with a regular straight silhouette, they provide plenty of room through the leg without feeling oversized. While naturally suited to workwear styling, they pair equally well with Ivy and traditional menswear influences.

One-washed for comfort from the start, with no shrinkage expected.
