Penney, Sears, Montgomery Ward), the cut and detailing echo vintage painter trousers from mid-century America.

The 7.5 oz denim is a standout: lightweight, with a greenish indigo hue that nods to the sulphur-mixed indigo dyes used in vintage budget denim. Ironically, reproducing this now takes more effort and cost—but the results speak for themselves.
