Where it’s made: Made in Japan
What it’s made from: #8 × #10 selvedge light-ounce denim, 100% cotton
Fit description: High waist with a straight leg – classic workwear silhouette
The 1930s WPA Double Knee Denim Trousers from Warehouse & Co. draw inspiration from garments produced in WPA sewing rooms during the 1930s. These trousers reflect the utilitarian approach of the era, where military workwear was often repaired, adapted, and repurposed for civilian labour.
Designed with durability in mind, the trousers feature reinforced double knees, a simple waistband construction, and a single patch back pocket. The high waist and straight leg create a balanced, authentic silhouette rooted firmly in early American workwear.
Cut from light-ounce selvedge denim woven with #8 warp and #10 weft yarns, the fabric is delivered raw and will shrink with washing, settling into its final shape over time.
Please note shrinkage after washing: approx. 2–2.5 cm in waist, 2 cm in thigh, 2 cm front rise, 3 cm back rise, 6–7 cm in length, and 1 cm in leg opening.
Olof is 185 cm / 80 kg and wears size 34 after washing.
