These slow-speed circular knitting machines, now rare and difficult to maintain, produce fabric with a distinct shadow stripe effect, visible slub texture, and a unique unevenness that modern high-speed machines simply can’t replicate.

The result is a soft-yet-structured feel, full of character. Details like the tight, triply stitched collar, tubular knit body (no side seams), and old-school construction methods make this tee a go-to for heritage purists.

Warehouse & Co. is one of Japan’s most respected reproduction specialists.
