The Lot 487 Plain Zip Hood Sweatshirt from Warehouse & Co. is a newly developed heavyweight sweatshirt inspired by 1960s reverse-weave athletic wear. Built using a horizontal grain construction, the fabric is designed to reduce shrinkage while offering a dense yet airy feel — stiff and resilient, but still soft against the body.

Warehouse achieves this through an uncommon paired-weave technique, carefully balancing yarn count and knit density on loopwheel machines. The result is a fleece with pronounced surface texture and natural elasticity, closely echoing the character of vintage originals. The heavy fabric demands skilled handling throughout dyeing and sewing, reinforcing the garment’s uncompromising build quality.
