Where it’s made: Made in Japan
What it’s made from: 100% cotton, 10 oz loopback-knitted sweatshirt fabric
Fit description: Regular fit with raglan sleeves
The Albert Sweatshirt from Warehouse & Co. and John Gluckow takes inspiration from the classic wool sweatshirt famously associated with Albert Einstein, reinterpreted through the lens of vintage American sportswear. The result is a highly wearable everyday sweatshirt with strong heritage character.
The 10 oz loopback fabric is knitted slowly on vintage machines, creating a dense but comfortable texture with a beautifully natural hand. The inside is heavily brushed to achieve an exceptionally soft feel, offering warmth and comfort in colder conditions while still maintaining the structure of a proper sweatshirt.
The raglan sleeve construction improves ease of movement and contributes to the classic athletic silhouette. Ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem are all carefully produced for durability and long-term shape retention, reinforcing the garment’s vintage-inspired construction.
With wear and washing, the sweatshirt will soften and develop even more character over time.
Please note that shrinkage will occur after washing: approximately 2–3 cm in length, 5–6 cm in width, and 3–4 cm in sleeve length.
Jonas is 183 cm / 75 kg and wears size 42.
