What it’s made from: 75% wool / 25% cotton jacquard
Fit description: Regular fit with a hip-length cut and shawl collar
The Mackinaw Blanket Coat from Warehouse & Co., developed in collaboration with vintage collector John Gluckow, is a faithful reinterpretation of an early American outerwear classic. Inspired by tightly woven wool blanket coats worn in North America from the early 1800s, the design traces its roots to point blankets originally produced by the Hudson Bay Company.
Crafted from a richly patterned jacquard wool developed for the Stag Coat the previous season, the coat features a rounded shawl collar, two low patch pockets, and strap cuffs. The dense weave offers natural weather resistance and warmth, while the hip-length cut keeps the silhouette practical and easy to wear.
Finished with original nut buttons and a clean, understated construction, this is a simple yet characterful coat built with both history and longevity in mind.
Jonas is 183 cm / 75 kg and wears size 42.
