Fit description: Classic Rocky Mountain fit — regular, warm, and easy to layer
The Warehouse x Rocky Mountain Featherbed Down Vest combines Warehouse’s fabric mastery with Rocky Mountain’s iconic cowboy-era construction. Founded in late-1960s Wyoming, RMFB became famous for its down vests built with a single-piece leather yoke and insulation that mimicked a feather bed — lightweight, incredibly warm, and made for hard outdoor use.
Recreated with absolute precision in Japan by 35 Summers, this edition is especially rare thanks to its indigo rope-dyed selvedge herringbone fabric (7×10 weave) — a beautiful, textured outer that will fade uniquely with wear, unlike standard nylon versions.
Key details include:
Indigo rope-dyed selvedge herringbone outer — richly textured, built to age beautifully
90/10 down-to-feather fill using European water-repellent down
One-piece Western leather yoke cut from a single hide
Brass snap closure, velcro hand pockets, inside pocket
Stand collar for extra warmth
A special, fade-friendly and heritage-rich take on one of the most iconic down vests ever made.
