Repair Service For Store Bought Jeans

Denim Repair

We repair denim using our vintage Singer 47W70 darning machine, a machine specifically designed for repairs. With no feed mechanism, the fabric can be moved freely in any direction while sewing.

Rather than adding a large piece of backing fabric, we use the machine to essentially weave new thread into the damaged area, working back and forth with the warp and weft of the denim. This creates a soft and comfortable repair without adding unnecessary bulk.

Our denim repair service is free for all jeans bought from Göteborg Manufaktur and is part of our commitment to keeping your jeans going for as long as possible. At the moment, we do not offer this service for jeans purchased elsewhere.

Current lead time is approximately 4 weeks.

Shipping your jeans to us

The repair itself is free. You only pay for shipping.

If you would like to send your jeans to us, you can purchase shipping here. Simply select whether you are shipping from Sweden or another EU country.

If you live outside the EU, please contact us before placing an order. Customs handling and additional charges need to be arranged separately.

Before sending your jeans

Please include a note inside the parcel with your name, order number if available, and clear instructions about what you would like repaired.

Marking the damaged areas is also helpful, particularly if there are several areas of wear and you only want certain ones repaired.

If anything is unclear, we'll contact you before starting the repair.

The service is free, the shipping is not. We'll take care of the rest and get your jeans ready for plenty more wear.
